  • Which connection mode are you using: MTP or ADB?

Try these quick troubleshooting steps:

  1. Check your cable: Make sure you're using a data transfer cable, not a charge-only cable.
  2. Connect directly: Plug the device directly into your Mac instead of using a USB hub.
  3. Close conflicting apps: If using MTP mode, quit any other Android-management software running on your Mac.

Try ADB mode: Use ADB connection mode and see if it connects.
